Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle with speed and urgency that meets quality standards set by The Pets Table to produce the best quality food for our pups
  • Overseeing merchandising of our existing products, including promotions, product marketing, retail onboarding/management and digital product changes
  • Manage our product feedback cycle to improve our existing recipes
  • Work with brand teams to design packaging and photoshoots for new product launches
  • Develop long and short term product roadmap and strategy across our complete and balanced pet food categories as well as in our addons categories (treats, supplements, etc.)
  • Create and execute project plans to ensure successful product development within guardrails of budget and timeline. Including product briefs, business casing and our go to market strategy
  • Continually introduce strategic ideas and product concepts for new products, quality improvements, and productivity
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to support new categories, products and addons we should be investing in to improve customer experience, retention and overall growth of the business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Growth, Ops, our Vet Nutritionist and Tech across the entire product development process to ensure success of the products we launch
  • Help build new models and/or processes to measure how new products impact key business objectives

Required Skills and Experience

  • You have 3+ years of experience in product, brand management or strategy roles. Experience within the Food or Pet industry is preferred, but not required.
  • You have demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects that involve physical product development
  • Experience working on or managing complex projects in a hands-on analytical environment
  • Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large data sets skillfully by building complex models and identify/resolve problems quickly using sound and professional judgment
  • Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management and with technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to manage resources, budgets, vendors, and be able to lead and guide projects through completion
