Your Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: You will define and articulate the product vision and roadmap for communication and messaging experiences, aligning with business goals across diverse teams like Marketing, Support, Operations and customer needs across all Uber Apps.You will also stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive analysis to ensure the product remains innovative and relevant.
  • User-Centric Development: You will lead user research and collaborate with design teams and to understand customer pain points and design intuitive, inclusive communication solutions.You will test and iterate on features to ensure exceptional user experiences across diverse platforms (chat, voice, etc.).
  • Feature Development and Testing: You will identify, prioritize, and oversee the execution of features that enhance communication workflows, such as real-time messaging, video calls, and notifications.You will work with engineering teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-quality product releases and run experiments to understand impact of different features.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will partner with marketing, engineering and Data science teams to communicate product value and drive adoption.You will serve as a key stakeholder in resolving user concerns and leveraging feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Performance Metrics: You will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of communication products and identify opportunities for optimization. You will conduct regular reviews of data to make informed decisions about future development.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a Product role building high impact scalable platforms.
  • Basic understanding of how different communication channels (Email, Push, SMS, Voice, Chat) work.
  • Strong hypothesis building and problem solving skills. Is comfortable getting their hands dirty with large amounts of data and running independent analysis.
  • Has prior experience prioritizing projects across multiple stakeholders based on business impact, creating product roadmaps, and communicating product vision and results to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience with working with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Data Science and Analysts
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams Passion for learning new technologies, domains, and challenging the status quo.
  • Grit, drive and a strong feeling of ownership coupled with collaboration.
