The process typically begins with the expert(s) creating a list of heuristics that are relevant to the product or service being evaluated. The expert(s) then evaluates the product or service against each heuristic, looking for potential areas of improvement. Once all of the heuristics have been evaluated, the expert(s) will compile their findings into a report that outlines any potential usability issues and provides recommendations for improvement. This report can then be used by product managers to make informed decisions about how best to improve the user experience of their products and services.
